13.7% of Humphreys County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Humphreys County recorded an unemployment rate of 13.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 424 people out of the 7,916 living in Humphreys County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Humphreys County has decreased compared to the 14.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Humphreys County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.8%.

Everyone who had a job at the time belonged to the civilian labor force.
