6.7% of citizens unemployed in Bolivar County in 2021

Bolivar County recorded an unemployment rate of 6.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 772 people out of the 31,301 living in Bolivar County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Bolivar County has decreased compared to the 7.4% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Bolivar County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.8%.

Of the 10,742 people who had a job during that time, 22 were employed in the Armed Forces and 10,720 belonged to the civilian labor force.
