What background was most represented in Warren County schools in 2021-2022 school year?

Of the 6,955 students enrolled in Warren County schools in 2021-2022, 41.5% were White, according to the Mississippi Department of Education. This was the most represented ethnicity among Warren County students.

This is a 9.3% increase over the previous school year.

Warren Central High School had the highest enrollment of White students in the 2021-2022 school year.

A snapshot of Warren County schools showed 41.5% students were White and 0.7% were Asian.

There are 14 schools in Warren County.

Mississippi has continually struggled with public education. The most recent Report Card on American Education, from a right-leaning think tank, gave the state a C-. This is consistent with ratings stretching back nearly one decade.

The nonpartisan Education Week also ranked Mississippi schools as C- in their most recent analysis.
