Lady Trojans Host Baton Rouge Community College in MACCC Playoff Action
J.T. Hall Coliseum will be hosting MACCC Playoff action as the #8 seeded Mississippi Delta Community College Trojans entertain #9 seeded Baton Rouge Community College at 6:00 p.m.
The winner will face the #1 seed, Jones County Community College. Lady Trojan Head Coach Tangela Banks is getting her team ready for the post-season action.
"We've to win the games we're supposed to win," Coach Banks said. "We're breaking down film now on Baton Rouge."
Winning their final two games of the season, the final regular season game almost slipped away after having a 17-point lead.
"It's my fault. We got up 17 and 51 seconds in the third quarter and I decided to let the bench play. Then they gave away 10 points and our momentum was going. Hinds wasn't missing anything. Their point guard had the best game of her career. But our players need to see this. We are young."
