Diamond Devils Open the 2023 Season with a Win Over Texas Southern
The Mississippi Valley State Diamond Devils opens the 2023 season with a win over Texas Southern on Day One of the Inaugural Cactus Jack HBCU Classic at the Minute Maid Park on Friday evening.
The Diamond Devils closed the game in the bottom of the fifth with a double to the left field by Maury Weaver with an RBI single to bring Narvin Brooke home to score, 7-5.
