Our fall severe weather season will kick off with the potential for strong thunderstorms producing straight-line winds in excess of 70mph, large hail, and tornados Tuesday afternoon into the overnight hours. While the forecast details are still somewhat hazy, your plans for seeking adequate shelter during a storm should be rock solid. Please take a few minutes to talk with your family about severe weather plans - mobile homes and automobiles are not safe during severe weather. Have a plan, monitor local media and a weather alert radio and take action if a warning for our area is issued.
