The city of GREENville got a little GREENER. On Friday, April 22nd, Earth Day, Keep Greenville Beautiful along with FoodCorps planted trees at Lucy Webb Elementary School and Carrie Stern Elementary School. The members of Keep Greenville Beautiful and FoodCorps also got the opportunity to assist the students with other Earth Day activities such as outdoor hot dog roasting. The students were thrilled to get their hands dirty and learn about how to friendly to the environment!
Statement from Mayor Errick D. Simmons: It was great to partner with Keep Greenville Beautiful, @FoodCorps, and our local schools to emphasize the importance of being kind to the community. I encourage all citizens to be a little greener in Greenville!
