Mississippi Valley State to face Arkansas-Pine Bluff in softball doubleheader April 8

The Mississippi Valley State University softball team is set to conclude its cross-division, home-and-home series against the Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions on April 8 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

This matchup is significant as it marks the final meeting between the two teams this season. The games will take place at the Torii Hunter Softball Complex with scheduled start times of 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Mississippi Valley State enters the contest with a record of one win and twenty-seven losses overall, and zero wins in fifteen Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) games. Arkansas-Pine Bluff holds a record of nine wins and eighteen losses overall, with four wins in ten SWAC contests.
