The defeat leaves Mississippi Valley with a record of 11-24 overall and 7-10 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Florida A&M improves to 19-17 overall and holds a conference record of 14-3. The Rattlers have now won two straight games over the Delta Devils since their last loss to Mississippi Valley on April 13, 2025.

During the game at Moore-Kittles Field, Gabe Huelsing hit a triple that drove in a run and scored twice himself. Jaxon Haynes also hit a triple and later scored.
