On Sunday, Feb. 2, former Bayou Academy standout Madison Jenkins’ current college team, the Mississippi Choctaws, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas.

The game took place at Broussard Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Javelinas this season.

The Choctaws’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. at Sand Mountain Park against Lincoln Memorial Railsplitters.
