Cost of education increases for all Mississippi Delta Community College students in 2022-23 school year

For the 2022-23 school year, in-state tuition at Mississippi Delta Community College rose by 7.6%, based on the latest available information, according to the latest disclosure from the National Center for Education Statistics.

Mississippi residents paid $3,380 to attend the two-year public college this year, an increase of $240 from the $3,140 charged during the 2021-22 academic year.

Non-resident students faced a tuition rate 76.9% higher than that of in-state students in 2022-23, amounting to $5,980. This represents a 12% increase from the $5,340 tuition fee in the previous year.

Approximately 96% of the undergraduate student body at the college are Mississippi residents, while around 2% come from other states.

Data indicates that 94% of full-time undergraduates who enrolled at Mississippi Delta Community College in 2022-23 received some form of student financial aid. A total of 403 students were awarded grants or scholarships amounting to $2.7 million.
